IBIZA SWIM CAMP EXPERIENCE

From October 19 to 23, 2026

Live five days of training, learning and open water in Ibiza.

The Ibiza Swim Camp Experience is an experience designed for swimmers who want to improve their technique, gain confidence in the sea and enjoy some of the best open water settings in the Mediterranean.

During the camp we will combine swimming sessions in the pool, open water training, video analysis, technical talks, practical advice and local support so that you can experience Ibiza from the water, in a safe, close and very special way.

The camp is organized by Swim Wanderer together with José Juan Aranda “Joju”, creator of BeWaterTraining, a brand specialized in swimming training, triathlon and technical improvement in the water.

A week to train, learn and enjoy the sea

This camp was born with the aim of offering a complete experience for open water swimmers: technique, training, safety, coexistence and discovery of the island.

It’s not just about swimming. It is about understanding the sea better, learning to orient yourself, improving your efficiency in the water, sharing sessions with other swimmers and enjoying Ibiza in an ideal time for swimming.

The program takes place just after OCEANMAN Ibiza and before IbiziOWS, so it is a perfect opportunity to extend the experience on the island, combine events and live an authentic week of open water.

It is not necessary to have competitive experience or a specific race pace, but it is necessary to have a minimum swimming base that allows you to complete the training independently.

The organization may adapt some sessions according to the level of the group, but it is important that each participant has previous swimming experience and follows the instructions of the technical team at all times.

This camp is designed for those who want to experience Ibiza beyond a single test or weekend.

Participants will be able to benefit from discounts for two major open water events on the island:

OCEANMAN Ibiza

International open water swimming event held the weekend before the camp.

An ideal opportunity to compete, enjoy the OCEANMAN atmosphere and then stay in Ibiza to continue training during the week.

IbiziOWS

Open water social and sporting event organized by Swim Wanderer from October 23 to 25, 2026.

The camp ends on Friday, October 23, coinciding with the start of IbiziOWS, so participants will be able to link both experiences and enjoy an additional weekend of swimming, coexistence and routes in the sea.

Extra for the OCEANMAN Ibiza weekend

For those who want to arrive earlier and participate in OCEANMAN Ibiza, there will be the possibility of hiring all-inclusive accommodation at Sirenis Seaview Country Club during the weekend of the event.

The open water sessions will take place in areas selected according to sea conditions, weather and the experience of the local team.

The program may be modified if conditions are not suitable, always prioritizing the safety and enjoyment of the participants.

Participants must follow the instructions of the technical team and local support staff at all times.

TECHNICAL DIRECTION

José Juan Aranda “Joju” · Creator of BeWaterTraining

The technical direction of the camp will be led by José Juan Aranda “Joju”, creator of BeWaterTraining, a brand specialized in swimming training, triathlon and technical improvement in the water.

BeWaterTraining was born with a very clear philosophy: to help swimmers and triathletes improve their swimming form, be more efficient in the water and enjoy the training process more.

Its methodology combines technique, efficiency, adaptation to the aquatic environment and a practical vision of learning, both in the pool and in open water.

Joju has extensive experience as a swimmer, coach and trainer. During the camp he will lead the pool sessions, open water training, video analysis, technical talks and personalized advice so that each participant can improve their technique, confidence and safety at sea.

The union of Swim Wanderer, as a local organizer specialized in open water experiences in Ibiza, and BeWaterTraining, as
