The terms and conditions that I describe below are an expression of common sense that we must apply to both the coach and the athlete so that your training and my services as a coach become a great experience for both of us, we want to achieve your goals, get fit, improve your times, win competitions but above all let’s enjoy sports to the fullest.

FEEDBACK ONLINE TRAINING:

In order to optimise your personalised online training as much as possible, I need you to give me specific information on how you are doing the training, how the sessions are going, if you reach the times, if it is little or a lot of volume or anything you think you need to know about your workouts or something that may affect them (a bad work day, you are not feeling well, your period has come …). Sports training is not an exact science, there are many variables that affect performance. Therefore, the more information we share together, the easier it will be for both of us to carry out the training sessions in the best possible way.

PERSONAL FACE TO FACE TRAINING:

During the sessions and / or before or after we can discuss the issues that are relevant to the training or other aspects that we consider useful for your evolution and enjoyment.

It is important that you express your feelings and emotions in the water to help you improve.

COMMUNICATION ONLINE TRAINING:

For me, communication is important and I am not going to put limits on our communication, which must be constant and fluid. I also understand that when we start the training you will have more questions that I must answer and that little by little we will reach a higher level of understanding.

Both parties will use some common sense, understanding that both athlete and coach have family life, work, free time, etc., beyond training, so sometimes the response will not be immediate and perhaps it is not recommended to do so at certain times of the day.

That said, you are free to contact me when and how you need using the following channels:

Through the Training Peaks application (www.trainingpeaks.com) you can give me information about the perception of effort, how you have felt or make comments post activity or pre activity. It is the basic level of communication that we will use on a daily basis.

If you need to send me specific information, such as test results, documents, pdf, etc., you can contact by email at info@bewatertraining.com

For sending videos and photos (that at some point I am going to request), I recommend that you do this through the page www.wetransfer.com, you can send up to 2 GB for free from your computer or you can download the app on your phone.

You can send messages via WhatsApp when you consider it appropriate to resolve doubts and ask questions. Please note that I spend many hours in the pool, so sometimes I may not be able to answer you right away.

Telephone calls and / or video calls (Zoom Platform): Every six or eight weeks I would like to have direct contact to discuss the most relevant aspects of your training, carry out your video correction online and make individual modifications and adaptations to your training.

PERSONAL FACE TO FACE TRAINING:

It will be face to face and weekly through the swimming pool classes and training.

If you cannot attend the training or any unforeseen event please can you communicate it to me by Whatsapp.

CONFIDENCE/TRUST

You must have confidence in the training plan, in your coach and in yourself. It is one of the keys to improvement.

If you have questions, please ask what you need to, give your opinion and use creativity to give me ideas on how to improve your training. Each individual is unique and although we may have characteristics in common, it is important to me that both coach and athlete work in the same line.

VIDEO CORRECTIONS ONLINE TRAINING:

Every 6 or 8 weeks I will ask you to record yourself in your usual training pool and send me the videos so that I can analyse the improvement of your technique and apply the most appropriate exercises to correct any mistakes.

Videos can be recorded with your mobile or GoPro following these instructions:

1.- Make the recording horizontally.

2.- Try to make the mobile move as little as possible or use a telescopic stick.

3.- Record a maximum of 25 meters of swimming

4.- The swimming speed must be medium

5.- I recommend that you do several tests before recording the final videos.

6.- You must have the help of a colleague to record you, walking along the side of the pool.

7.-There are 4 videos that I need: from outside and inside the front and side water.

PERSONAL FACE TO FACE TRAINING:

When possible and necessary, I will record you so that you can see yourself, and we will analyse any errors at the foot of the pool so that we can improve them immediately.

If you need a complete video correction, you can enjoy special prices for being a face-to-face athlete.

PAYMENT

The payment of your online training fee will be made through the payment platform on the website, following the instructions and will be automatically renewed every month.

The payment fee is for the entire month and will be made month by month automatically. Except if you decide to pay quarterly or semi-annually

If you want to unsubscribe you can do so up to 72 hours before the renewal is charged.

*ONLINE TRAINING:

HOW AND WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE WORKOUTS?

The training sessions will be received weekly through the Training Peaks application, before the end of the week prior to the training sessions, that is, normally you will receive them between Friday and Sunday so that you can train first thing Monday morning.

HOW TO USE THE TRAINING PEAKS TRAINING PLATFORM?

  • Download the app on your mobile or access through your computer.
  • Create a free account on the Training Peaks training platform. Register and follow the steps.
  • Fill in the personal data, including a photo.
  • Receive my coaching link through WhatsApp or your email and accept the request.
  • We will automatically be connected.

*ONLINE TRAINING & FACE TO FACE TRAINING:

WHAT MATERIAL DO I NEED FOR WORKOUTS?

Basic pool equipment: kick board, pull buoy, paddles, front snorkel, short fins.

Elastic or thera band for strength training and shoulder protection exercises out of the water.

If you have chosen a Triathlon training plan, you will also need the necessary equipment for cycling and running.
